Our initial no obligation consultation is where we are able to gather information on your project and how we can best reflect your style and meet your needs both from a functional and aesthetic perspective. This information is used to inform the design. We will also gather information on what services you would like to take on so we can prepare a detailed design proposal for your needs.
After our initial consultation a detailed proposal will be prepared based on the information gathered and what services you indicated that you would require and the scope of works for the design. Once you have given your acceptance of our proposal and deposits have been paid we will commence work.
We are very experienced in spatial planning. Having our team involved at the earliest planning stages will allow us to get the best functional and aesthetic outcomes for your project.
Concept stage is part of the creative process where after our initial meeting we are able to put our creative brains together to come up with a design to meet your client brief. We will explore design ideas, colours and materials.
Once we have a clear picture of the concept design we will present this to you so that you are able to give your feedback. This is a collaborative process between designer and client to ensure that we are meeting the brief and fine tune the design.
After Concept Presentation we would have gathered all the information and feedback to fine tune the design and go back and finalise colours, materials and design. Preparation of models for 3D renders and samples will be prepared to ensure that communication of the design is clear and concise.
A professional presentation of the final design will be prepared with flat lays, renders where appropriate and quotations for items and materials being considered for the design where possible.
Its time to document all the aspects of your design for your contractor to be able to carry out works. Detailed digital specifications of all materials, colours and products for every area of the design will be supplied using our design program. Joinery details and any other items that require documentation will also be supplied as per contracted proposal between client and designer.
Once all items are signed off on if we have been appointed to procure items we will purchase and order items upon payment from client to Jack & That Interior Design.
Depending on the services taken on we are able to come on site which we would recommend at pivotal parts of the construction phase such as framing, electrical & plumbing rough in, joinery installation etc. This allows our team to ensure that all aspects of the design are going as planned and communicate with your construction team if they have any questions or need clarification on any aspects of the design. This will be priced on application.
When services include furniture or art we will ensure we are on site for installation and deliveries to ensure that all goes to plan.
